Academics/Curriculum

From a Christian worldview perspective, El Dorado Christian School offers a challenging academic program, using various curriculums to best meet our students’ academic needs. El Dorado Christian School desires to meet the standards set forth by the state of Missouri. Below is a list of the curriculum we use:

ABeka, Positive Action for Christ, Summit Ministry, Envision Math,  Bob Jones University Press, Apologia, Purposeful Design, and Notgrass History.

We are careful to choose materials which advance our objectives of teaching students in the love of God and giving students an excellent academic education.  We are continually evaluating our curriculum to adapt as necessary to best meet these objectives.

Our high school graduates are required to meet the guidelines for graduation outlined by the state of Missouri.  Our students are offered the College Preparatory Coursework, and many receive the College Preparatory Certificate issued by the Missouri Department of Education.  Our graduates are attending colleges across the nation, many on substantial scholarships.
